April Book Bingo

aindex

April’s here!  Somebody at church told me today after April 9th all bad winter weather is gone. I hope that’s true because my hands were so cold walking to church today they froze my phone and it turned off.

This month begins a monthly book challenge.  Every month I’ll post a reading challenge.  Pick a string of books you like and complete a bingo.  Go to our facebook page (or comment below) and tell us what you read and how you liked it. This month I’m putting everyone who completes the challenge name into a hat and pulling a winner.  The winner will receive a $10 amazon gift card.  That’s one whole amazon e-book.  So get started. I’m reading the bottom row and here are my choices.

Chick-lit: The Royal We by Heather Cocks and Jessica Morgan.  I’m a total sucker for a princess story.  I’m not proud of it.  But it’s who I am

Biography of someone you’ve never heard of: Rosemary: The Hidden Kennedy Daughter by Kate Clifford Larson.  It’s been trending… hard.

A murder mystery: Still Life by Louise Penny.  Recommended to me by two people who consume books like rain on snow.  It’s supposed to be a pretty addicting series.

A classic less than 150 pages: The Turn of the Screw by Henry James.  It’s supposed to be an original ghost story, which sounds fun.

A book about the end of life: When Breath Becomes Air by Deckle Edge.  Besides having a cool title it’s another book highly recommended and trending hard right now.

Five books too ambitious?  Try Book Tac Toe.
